Compa????a Mexicana de Aviaci??n (commonly known by the shorter name Mexicana) is Mexico's flag carrier airline since 1924 and is the second largest international airline in Mexico and is based in Mexico City. It was the first airline in Mexico, but was not chosen as the national carrier because of its lack of international destinations. It operates domestic services and international services to North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
